Colossians 3:23
Biblical mentorship, identity development, and compassionate service for youth who are ready to Suit Up.
Suit Up 4 The Kingdom is a faith-based ministry dedicated to preparing hearts and encouraging purpose. We serve children, teens, and young adults by providing biblical mentorship, practical life application, and compassionate support.
Our mission is to transform a generation, equipping them to walk confidently in their God-given identity and discover their spiritual uniform.

Suit Up 4 The Kingdom has invested in children and youth for many years by providing mentorship, educational support, practical assistance, enrichment opportunities, and experiences designed to broaden their vision for the future.
Our commitment is to help young people discover their identity, develop confidence, recognize their gifts, and pursue their God-given purpose. Through encouragement, exposure, opportunity, faith-based guidance, and practical support, we seek to help remove barriers and equip young people for the road ahead.
This is not the beginning of the work. It is the continuation of years of service, investment, and Kingdom purpose—now being shared through an online presence.
Providing practical, scripture-based instruction that equips individuals to apply God’s Word to everyday life.
“Thy Word Is Truth.” — John 17:17
For more than 37 years, biblical teaching, faithful service, spiritual growth, and ministry preparation have been a continuing part of the foundation from which Suit Up 4 The Kingdom serves.
Through Bible studies, devotionals, books, workshops, speaking engagements, online teaching, and practical instruction, the Word of God is shared in a way that encourages understanding, spiritual maturity, obedience, and application to everyday life.
The purpose is not simply to provide information, but to help individuals understand God’s Word, recognize their God-given purpose, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and become equipped to walk out what they have learned.
The method may expand, but the message remains the same: God’s Word is truth. This online presence is not the beginning of the teaching—it is another way to continue sharing what God has developed through years of study, service, preparation, and obedience.
Serving with Love. Making an Impact.
Community outreach is more than meeting an immediate need—it is seeing people, hearing their concerns, standing with them, and helping create meaningful change. Suit Up 4 the Kingdom extends compassion beyond the church walls by serving youth, seniors, widows, and families; supporting opportunities that strengthen families; and advocating for communities facing ongoing challenges.
Our outreach has included funding family experiences, providing support and encouragement to seniors and widows, advocating for residents in a repeatedly flood-impacted community, participating in the St. John the Baptist Parish FloodWise Community Forum, helping residents understand and navigate the parish work-order system, and working alongside community organizations and local leaders toward drainage improvements that benefited the neighborhood.
Community Advocacy
Suit Up 4 the Kingdom believes that serving a community also means helping residents find information, understand available resources, and make their concerns heard. Through participation in the St. John the Baptist Parish FloodWise Community Forum, residents received practical information concerning flood impacts, community action, and the parish work-order system.
From Community Concerns to Visible Improvement
After years of repeated flooding and drainage concerns, continued documentation, community advocacy, resident participation, and collaboration helped bring attention and improvements to the neighborhood. These photographs preserve part of that journey—from flooding and ongoing drainage challenges to visible work and progress.
Caring for Seniors, Widows, and Families
Our outreach includes showing love and appreciation to seniors and widows while supporting families through encouragement, acts of kindness, meaningful experiences, and compassionate assistance. We believe people should know that they are seen, valued, remembered, and loved.
We do not serve for recognition. We serve because love requires action. Whether encouraging a senior, supporting a family, helping residents locate resources, or standing with a community seeking solutions, our desire is to serve with compassion and make a meaningful Kingdom impact.
Helping individuals identify, develop, and activate their gifts, talents, and abilities for Kingdom service and purposeful living.
Suit Up 4 the Kingdom believes that leadership begins with recognizing the gifts God has placed within each person. Through education, mentorship, spiritual development, practical training, and opportunities to serve, we encourage individuals to grow in knowledge, confidence, character, and purpose.
Our commitment includes supporting educational advancement, encouraging lifelong learning, helping individuals discover and develop their gifts, creating opportunities for youth to explore careers, and preparing emerging leaders to serve their churches, families, communities, and the Kingdom of God.
Leadership is not merely holding a title or standing before people. Kingdom leadership is demonstrated through service, character, preparation, responsibility, and a willingness to help others grow. We encourage individuals to recognize that their gifts are not only for personal advancement—they are also tools through which they can serve others.
We believe that learning is more than acquiring knowledge—it is preparation for service. As individuals grow in wisdom and understanding, they become better equipped to lead, mentor, and impact their communities for the Kingdom of God. Through tuition assistance, Suit Up 4 the Kingdom supports students pursuing biblical education through institutions such as Fellowship International Bible College, Metairie, LA, while helping them prepare to fulfill their God-given purpose.
Young people need opportunities to discover their interests, recognize their abilities, and envision possibilities for their future. Through career exposure, educational enrichment, mentorship, and practical experiences, youth are encouraged to explore their gifts and understand that they have purpose, potential, and a meaningful contribution to make.
Leadership is not only about where we are today. It is also about whom we prepare to serve tomorrow. We are committed to encouraging lifelong learning, developing gifts, strengthening confidence, and helping individuals move from potential to purposeful action. Through our collaboration with Rhema Christian Center and Youth On The Move, Baton Rouge, LA, we continue to invest in the next generation through mentorship, leadership development, and opportunities that inspire growth and purpose.
Your gifts have purpose. Your abilities can make an impact. The Kingdom needs what God placed inside of you. Identify it. Develop it. Activate it. Suit Up!

"The Suit Up 4 The Kingdom model is a must for those who are serious about taking their walk with the Lord to the next level of excellence!"
Failing An Open Book Test was a very helpful and thought provoking read. Multiple times I found myself challenged to dig deeper and know this "Open Book” better. Dr V does not leave us where we are but reminds us to take the test again and again….even if we have failed it before. Thank you for motivating me yet again!
Dr V’s book has propelled me to go deeper and move more intentional with our Lord Jesus Christ!
I learned we all have the answers but how we access and interpret that answer can either make us or break us.
I recommend this book to every believer with a servants heart. It will help fill in the blanks, adding to greater breakthrough, as you continue along your purposed journey; all in service for the Lord thy God!
Thank you !
Dr. Veronica/Suitup The Kingdom, your partnership with “Youth on The Move” has been immeasurable. You and your Organization exemplifies love, support, mentorship and investment into the lives of our youth.
I began reading your book, Failing An Open Book Test last week when problems of business and family weighed heavily on my mind. I read out of desperation to sleep and curiosity at the unusual title. I was not disappointed since the writer’s words were most insightful and very different from most Christian theme books. The writer’s approach seemed logical and supported by scripture. I was eager to finish but I fell into a deep sleep for the first time in over a week. I woke up rested and rejuvenated.
I was eager to relate to my wife how much I enjoyed reading Failing A Open Book Test. The book has given me the resolve to get back on track studying The Word of God after 6 years of being interrupted by the cares of the world. More recently, I find myself lacking when the tests come, and tests will surely come.
I feel this is a turning point for me and chance meeting the author Veronica Roussell last year was heaven sent.
I first met Dr. Veronica Roussell at the New Beginnings Women's Retreat in 2024. Attending that retreat was a blessing in itself, but I never imagined how much of an impact she would have on my life beyond that event.
Recently, after Hurricane Melissa, Dr. Veronica reached out to check on how I was coping. At a time I was carrying many burdens and feeling emotionally low, her call reminded me that God sees us and often sends people to encourage us when we need it most.
Not only did she sow a financial seed into my life, but she also sowed something even more valuable into my heart. During our conversation, I told her, "Things are hard." She gently corrected me and said, "Shafay, watch your words. You don't want things to be hard always. Instead, say, 'I am trusting God through the process.'"
Those words have stayed with me. She didn't just offer help, she offered hope, wisdom, and a reminder to align my words with my faith. Her kindness and timely encouragement came when I needed it most, and I will always be grateful for the way God used her in my life.
My prayer for Dr. Veronica is that the Lord will do for her what no human being can do. May He bless her abundantly, order every step she takes, enlarge her influence for His kingdom, and surround her with His favor. May He strengthen her day by day, renew her spirit continually, and cause her to grow from strength to strength. May every seed she has sown into the lives of others return to her as a rich harvest according to God's perfect will.
Thank you, Dr. Veronica, for allowing God to use you to be a blessing in my life.
